Bloomin’ good offer on hanging baskets for businesses
An Alnwick town-centre partnership is offering reduced rate hanging baskets to businesses as the town prepares to enter the prestigious Britain in Bloom competition.
Following the town’s success in last year’s Northumbria in Bloom event, Alnwick has been selected to go forward to the nationwide competition and to help the town look its blooming best, subsidised hanging baskets are now being offered.
Alnwick Town Council offers financial support to the project, Alnwick in Bloom organise the baskets and Northumberland County Council supply, hang and water the baskets.
In celebration of the new King, ‘Raising The Standard’ is this year’s theme and the baskets will hang from June to September.
The subsidised price of the baskets is great value at £25.
The subsidy is available on up to seven baskets and any further baskets will cost £50.
