Do you know there’s a fringe festival on in Alnwick next weekend?

As part of Alnwick Story Fest, there are more than twenty events taking place at locations across town in addition to the main ticketed programme.

There’s a wide variety of attractions lined up with titles including ‘Are you a real Peaky Blinder?’, ‘Make Your Own Dragon’ and ‘How to write a love poem’.

A presentation on how to self-publish, poetry readings, a silent book disco and foot stomping also feature!

Councillor Martin Harrington, who chairs the Alnwick Partnership Retail and Town Centre Advisory Group said “Story Fest has events for people of all ages, some serious, some fun but all of them combining to make the festival a superb celebration of words and film – it’s going to be great! I’m delighted that Alnwick Town Council showed their support by giving a £2500 grant.”

Alnwick Story Fest takes place from Friday February 24th to Sunday February 26th.
