Alnwick Story Fest 2026 Is Officially Go!

It’s happening! The doors to Alnwick Story Fest 2026 have swung open and the tickets are now live.

This year’s line-up is ridiculously good with full-spectrum inspiration: wit, wisdom, wardrobe magic, Nordic sagas, murderous plots, marathons (109 of them!), dopamine décor, Northumberland noir, children’s chaos, and even a Queen of Carrots. Yes, really.

Here’s a tiny taste:

Nicky Hambleton-Jones shows how to Drop a Decade and dial up the midlife magic.

Alistair Moffat MBE takes us from Viking raiders to offshore wind farms in an epic journey through the North Sea.

Lisa Jackson shares how running more than 100 marathons taught her courage, joy and hope.

Steph McGovern and Ann Cleeves bring northern grit, gossip and behind-the-scenes secrets from newsroom to crime scene.

Elle Hervin sprinkles dopamine décor all over our homes (and moods).

LJ Ross returns with Northumberland noir, mystery and power.

Lucy Adlington unravels courage, creativity and sisterhood in her beautiful, moving talk Threads that Bind.

Plus magical kids’ events including Chris Bostock and the Mad Alice Theatre
