Civic Events

Alnwick Town Council is responsible for the organisation of civic events within the town

They organise flag raising and lowering ceremonies during Armed Forces Week (usually the last week in June) and the Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade (second Sunday in November). They also organise a Civic Carol Service held in December with the collection in aid of the Mayor’s Charity.

In addition to these Civic Events the Town Council also organises a Civic Awards Scheme.
