Mayor meets the team at Alnwick’s new hair salon

The Mayor of Alnwick was invited to open a new hair salon and although he admitted he personally doesn’t use a hairdresser very often he was full on praise for the new venture.

Mayor Councillor Geoff Watson said “I was delighted to officially open ‘House of Hair, Alnwick’ which is situated in a prime spot on Bondgate Within. It was a pleasure to meet the owner Rachel Fordham and her team of stylists. The new salon is very stylish and looks great – it is definitely a welcome addition to the town centre.”

“My own requirements at a hair salon are quite limited but I wish Rachel and her talented team every success at the ‘House of Hair.”
