Submission of the Draft Alnwick and Denwick Neighbourhood Plan

The Steering Group are busy preparing the revised draft of the ADNP Review following all the comments received last summer on the first draft.

It hopes to submit the Review to the County Council towards the end of March.

After that there will be another 6 week consultation opportunity to make comments on it.

This “Publicity Stage” will be run by the County Council and all the comments received then will be forwarded to an independent examiner who will examine the review and decide if it meets the “Basic Conditions” .

They may propose that further modifications are made to the Review before it is put forward to a local referendum.
