A Christmas Treat for veterans at RAF Boulmer

The Mayor of Alnwick , Councillor Geoff Watson and his wife Dianne, were delighted to be invited to the RAF Boulmer Veterans Christmas Party.

Every year RAF Boulmer invite veterans to the base where the hospitality includes dinner in the Officers Mess followed by a raffle, bingo and live entertainment.

Councillor Watson said: “Many thanks to the Station Commander, Wing Commander Joe Redhead and his staff for making us feel so welcome. It was a lovely festive treat for the veterans and guests who enjoyed meeting the station’s current personnel.”
