Alnwick in the pink for Northumbria in Bloom

Alnwick in Bloom volunteers, supported by Alnwick Town Council,  have had a busy time getting ready for the visit of the Northumbria in Bloom judges later today – we are loving all the pink blooms and floral displays around town and hope they do too!

On their tour of the town they will look at the floral beds that are marking anniversaries of two of the town’s organisations – the beds either side of the Hostpur Tower  mark the 25th anniversary of The Alnwick Garden and the 45th anniversary of Alnwick in Bloom is celebrated in the round bed at the base of the column field.

Well done to everyone involved for creating these intricate displays.
