Alnwick’s cherry trees put on a stunning show…

We are loving the display of cherry blossom in Alnwick this spring.

As well as the stunning display of Tai Haku trees in The Alnwick Garden, the town centre is also putting on a pretty good show!

The blossom on the trees by the hospital entrance is now in full bloom, as is the white blossom on the avenue of Tai Haku trees at the bottom of Column Field. Those trees were presented to Alnwick Town Council and Alnwick in Bloom as part of a nationwide project celebrating friendship between Japan and the UK.

It’s great to see residents and visitors enjoying the display.
