Charity bikers receive a warm welcome in Alnwick

Earlier today visitors and residents of Alnwick witnessed the spectacular annual event which involved the Geordie Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOGs) as around one hundred bikes roared into town.

Alnwick Town Mayor, Councillor Geoff Watson, and his council colleagues, were there to meet the bikers who raised funds for Help For Heroes.

Mayor Geoff said: “If you didn’t see them coming you certainly heard them! I was delighted to once again welcome the HOGs to Alnwick and was delighted to see the number of people who had come along to meet them.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the bikers for visiting the County Town and also the shops and businesses in Bondgate Within for welcoming our biker friends.”
