Christmas lunch promises to be a treat for veterans

Alnwick Veteran’s Club Christmas Lunch organisers are inviting people to eat, drink and be merry!

Veteran’s Champion, Councillor Gordon Castle said “We’ve got the full complement of 60 signed up for the veterans Christmas lunch this Thursday. There will be festive food, alcoholic drinks and soft beverages.  We have a great line-up of entertainment from Village Voices, Carole and Jamie Robb and by Kirsteen Creasey with their trumpet and flugelhorn.”

“We hope people will wear festive dress and there will be service personnel from RAF Boulmer to help serve food and mingle. Everything is free, funded by the Northumberland County Council, Alnwick Lions and Northumberland Estates, to whom we are very grateful.”
