Council grant powers up sporting club

A grant from Alnwick Town Council has enabled Alnwick Bowling club to carry out essential electrical repairs.

Thanks to the £1000 donation an aging fuse box has been replaced and the electric supply to an outdoor cabin and external power sockets have been improved.

Alnwick Town Mayor, Councillor Geoff Watson is seen with club secretary John Williams and members of the club who were delighted to receive the grant.
