Gust speakers for business forum

Two presentations will be given at the next meeting of the Alnwick Town Council business forum on Wednesday 10th  July.

Dr. Stephen Byard, Principal Research Fellow at Quotient Sciences, one of Alnwick’s most prestigious companies, will present an overview of pharmaceutical development operations performed at the Alnwick facility. The site has now supported pharmaceutical research and development activities for more than 40 years, attracting investment in state-of-the-art technologies and continued facility upgrades.

Andrew Graves from Ortus Economic Research will be presenting on the findings of the Alnwick Local Economic Assessment which he and his team have undertaken in
the first half of this year:  This Assessment document will be used as part of the evidence base for the emerging new Neighbourhood Plan, providing the basis for decision making regarding policies and proposals within the new Neighbourhood Plan and how these policies and proposals can encourage vibrancy in the town.

Networking will be from 5.30pm with the start of the meeting at 6.30pm in The Lindisfarne Centre.
