Mayor’s Civic Awards: Community Group Nominations Wanted

Life in Alnwick is often enhanced by the dedication of the voluntary groups, teams and organisations within the town

To recognise these efforts, Alnwick Town Council’s annual Mayor’s Civic Awards includes a category that highlights the community groups making a significant contribution to the well-being, cultural or sporting life of our community.

These volunteer-led groups across Alnwick offer friendship and community spirit to residents of all ages and we want to hear from you about groups and organisations that you think deserve recognition.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Alnwick Playhouse on May 6th.

We are also seeking nominations for the Adult and Youth (U18 on 31st March 2026) categories.
