Vacancy for Councillor in the Hotspur Ward

A vacancy exists on Alnwick Town Council in the Hotspur Ward.

The Council are looking to fill the vacancy by co-option.

Anyone interested in being considered for the vacancy is requested to make an application in writing, setting out why they would like to be a councillor, in not more than 500 words.

Applications must be submitted to Peter Hately, Chief Officer and Town Clerk, via e-mail to Peter.Hately@alnwick-tc.gov.uk not later than noon on Friday 24th November 2023.

Anyone wishing to find out more about what is involved in being a councillor and how the Town Council operates is asked to contact Peter to arrange an informal discussion. A decision will be made by the Council on Thursday 14th December 2023.
