VIDEO: Alnwick and Denwick Neighbourhood Plan

Alnwick Town Council has published a video explaining the aims of the Alnwick and Denwick Neighbourhood Plan which is currently being reviewed.

The Review of the 2017 Neighbourhood Plan will reflect how the town has changed—and what it needs looking ahead to 2036. It covers key concerns such as housing, the economy, climate change, transport, and the town centre. The plan will guide future development of the town and be referred to in making planning decisions.

Residents and businesses in Alnwick and Denwick are now being urged to take part in a new public consultation on the draft of the Review to help shape the future of the area.

Councillor Geoff Watson, who chairs the Steering Group preparing the Review, said: “This is your plan. Nothing is set in stone, so we need your ideas and opinions to help shape Alnwick’s future. Please watch the video and then let us know your thoughts via the forms on the Alnwick Town Council website”
